What our policy is
It’s important to us that we respect and protect your privacy, this means how we look after, and what we do with information we hold about you. This policy sets out how we aim to do this. The organisation registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioners Office is Protea HR Limited, however, we may trade as Marion Hewitt, Marion Hewitt Coaching, or Marion Hewitt Coaching and Training, when carrying out work across consulting, coaching and training services.
Personal data that we may collect
We may collect personal data including your email address, address, and phone number.
You may provide this directly through contacting us, for example via our website, emails, business cards, or social media. You may provide additional information about yourself through some of the work we do together, for example reviewing your CV for job applications. Where we work with third parties we may receive information about you, from them.
How we may use this data
This information is used to carry out the administration relating to the services we provide,
to communicate with you regarding enquiries and to manage appointments and events.
This may include sharing it with third parties to carry out the work we contract to do with you.
We may also need to share it to comply with legal obligations. Your data may be used as part of a log of coaching hours required for professional accreditation or insurance requirements. Some information may be used within the work we do together for example during career coaching.
Your information will only be used for any marketing or mailing purposes with your specific consent. We will work to ensure this data is accurate and up to date and retained only as
long as recommended for good practice or to comply with legal obligations.
How we store and protect your data
Data retained on electronic systems are saved on password protected systems, with cloud based back up storage. Anti-virus software is also used to protect our systems and information.
Where data is transmitted we will take reasonable steps to ensure it is treated securely, unfortunately the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, so whilst it can not be guaranteed, we will follow our procedures to try to prevent any unauthorised access.
Data kept as paper records are protected and saved securely to prevent unauthorised access.
Sharing your data
We will share your data where we have your consent, as above; or where it is necessary to complete any transaction or provide any product you have requested to authorised.
Accessing your data
You can request your data to be removed or deleted at any time. You can also ask to see data we hold, and opt out of receiving any communications from us, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
